Overview

Through the Lex Fellowship in Barcelona, students can take part in one of the most prestigious pre-law summer programs available—combining law firm immersion with the experience of living in one of Europe’s most iconic cities.

As part of the Lex program in Barcelona, students gain valuable exposure to legal practice by shadowing seasoned professionals and learning how law operates within an international and European context. It’s the ideal opportunity for those pursuing a pre-law summer program for undergraduates who want to build their résumés while gaining global perspective.

Outside the legal world, Barcelona offers a wealth of experiences. Wander the cobblestone streets of Ciutat Vella, the city’s historic old town, where the Gothic Quarter, El Born, and El Raval each offer their own unique energy. Relax on the shores of La Barceloneta beach or explore Gaudí’s surreal masterpiece, Park Güell—a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For those who love fashion and food, Passeig de Gràcia and Rambla de Catalunya are packed with world-class boutiques, Catalan haute cuisine, and stylish cafés.

With its blend of rich history, coastal charm, and professional opportunity, Lex Fellowship programs in Spain—particularly in Barcelona—are among the most immersive and enriching pre-law summer programs available.
